Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) poker room in the United Kingdom has opened its own high-stakes area named after Sam “S3 TRX” Trickett.
Trickett’s room is open and functioning and will be on display for all to see when the PokerStars UKIPT rolls into town on Nov. 28.
In the last seven years, Trickett has cashed almost $20 million from live tournaments. His biggest live cash is currently from the 2012 WSOP, when he placed second in the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop tournament for $10,112,001. That made him Great Britain’s all-time most successful poker player.
Trickett has also been spotted playing huge cash games for millions in Macau and he is no stranger to online play either – playing under nickname “S3 TRX” on Full Tilt Poker and as “tr1cky7” on PokerStars.
In addition to Trickett’s room, there are at least two other high-limit poker rooms in the world named after legendary players. Both of them are located in Las Vegas – Bobby’s Room (named after Bobby Baldwin) and Ivey’s Room (named after Phil Ivey).
